Nach dem freundlichen, coronagemäßem Empfang erwartete mich ein frisch desinfiziertes ,sauberes, freundlich eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon, 4 km von der Loreley entfernt. Es war alles sehr komplikationslos und zum Abschied wurde ich noch auf einen Espresso eingeladen, um noch einen kleinen Smalltalk zu halten. Diese Unterkunft kann ich sehr empfehlen.?

We are pleased to be able to post the 1st TA review of the Loreley B&B. My wife and i diverted to Bornich from the Rheinsteig back in September to split the long hiking day from Kaub to St. Goarshausen - very glad that we did. It was only a 15-minute (0.5 mi) diversion from the trail. The turnoff is at N50.12540° E7.75115°. ||||Astrid and Wolfgang offered us very comfortable accommodations and generous hospitality on the 2nd floor of their lovely home. We enjoyed a nice cup of cappuccino and a chat with them while their dog (Albert) patrolled their back yard. The entire upstairs was ours as there were no other guests for that night...immaculate. We didn't leave for dinner, preferring instead their wine and beer (at reasonable prices) and our packed lunches that we survived our hike. There was a very nice balcony off our room for our "picnic"||||They allowed us do two desperately-needed and much-appreciated loads of laundry.||||If you don't relish the 14-mile hike stage and would consider splitting it in two, Loreley B&B is a great option. We recommend and would do it again.||||John & Pam

Hosts were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful, particularly in sharing local knowledge. The host-puppy was an added bonus! Room and bathroom super clean and modern. Good breakfast provided. Location was a bit off the beaten track, but was great for hiking and other culture. Village has a cute local pub.
