As a American soldier I recently spent two weeks at Hotel Villa, and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel is beautifully modeled like a home, making me feel completely comfortable—like I was home, but not at home. From the moment I arrived, Mrs. Angie, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming.
She went above and beyond by preparing homemade German meals for both breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere was military-friendly, and the open bar, gym, and sauna were great amenities that made my stay even better. Another touch was the European-American power converters available to charge my devices without any hassle.
What stood out the most was the sense of community—it didn’t feel like I was surrounded by strangers but by friends and family. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, hospitality, and a true home-like feel, Hotel Villa is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it!

Without a doubt the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Angie, Herbert, (owners) and the staff at Hotel Villa really make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. I arrived very late for my check in and the first thing Angie asked me was whether I had eaten or not. Their hospitality is top notch, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Angie makes elaborate dinners for all the guests and we all dine together every night like a family. I met some very interesting people here and I am so grateful I got the chance to stay for a few weeks. Over the course of my stay I never had the same meal twice, which is really a testament to the pride Angie takes in caring for the quests. Additionally, a full hot breakfast is served daily. If you’re coming to Vilseck and need a place to stay, look no further.
